  • Now, restart your computer by pressing the Yes button.

For Windows 8 or 10

  • Open the CMD application using the Windows + X buttons.
  • Type the CHKDSK command and press Enter.
  • Similarly, if you find any bad sector or error found message getting displayed on the screen, then clear it by running the CHKDSK /F /R command.
  • After clearing your computer’s hard disk error, open the Run command with the admin rights.
  • Now, type the quickup.exe/rollback command and tap Enter.
  • Wait for the ongoing process to complete.
  • Once it is done, run the Quick Heal update process using the offline installer file.
  • If the update is done successfully, then the Error ID 1004 is fixed.
  • Otherwise, reinstall the Quick Heal antivirus software on your computer.
  • To do so, first, uninstall the software from your computer.
  • After uninstalling the software, download the latest version of the Quick Heal application’s installer file and run it on your computer.
