Configuring The Camera Settings

  • Initially, make sure that you have installed the Quick Heal Total Security application on your computer.
  • Now, launch the application.
  • On the main screen of the application, locate and click on the Internet & Network option.
  • Now, a window titled Internet & Network will open.
  • Check whether the Webcam Protection option is enabled. If not, enable it.
  • Click on the Webcam Protection option to access the advanced options.
  • Now, if you wish to add a new application to the Webcam Protection list, then click on the Add button and select it from the list.
  • Make sure to set the access policy correctly.
  • Choose the Notify me on Webcam use option if you wish to allow and receive the alert notification when the added application tries to access your computer’s Webcam.
  • To block the added application from accessing the Webcam, choose the Notify me on webcam use option.
  • Finally, save the configured camera settings by clicking Save Changes.
