SSL VALIDATION ERROR

  • Initially, check whether your Windows computer settings, such as the DNS server, are configured correctly. If not, configure them correctly, and then try to update the Malwarebytes software.

  • Open the Control Panel window. Select Network and Sharing center > Change adapter settings. Choose the network that you wish to add an alternative DNS server and right-click on it. Click on the Properties option followed by the Networking tab. Choose Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) > Properties > Use the following DNS server addresses.
  • Now, type the Google DNS details in the Preferred DNS Server and Alternate DNS Server fields. Click OK.
  • Now, check if the error is fixed. If not, reinstall the Malwarebytes software on your computer using the Malwarebytes Support Tool.
  • If the reinstallation process also doesn’t resolve the issue, try to activate the Malwarebytes software from Safe mode.
