Here are the steps to turn on Webroot on your Windows or Mac system.
- Open the Secure Anywhere interface. (Select the Webroot icon from the menu bar and then open Webroot Secure Anywhere from the drop-down menu).
- From the menu bar, select the Webroot Secure Anywhere option and then click the Preferences button.
- When the computer opens the Preferences window, you will see a list of tabs on the left side of the window.
- Look for the Web Threat Select tab. Click the tab and then mark the checkbox beside the Monitor host file for changes option.
