  • View by large icons in the Control Panel window.
  • Click the Windows Firewall tab.
  • Navigate to the left-side panel and click the Restore defaults tab.
  • On the Restore default settings screen, click the Restore defaults button.
  • In the Restore Defaults Confirmation window, click the Yes button.

Method 3: Using Command Prompt

  • In the Command Prompt window, type ‘netsh advfirewall reset’ and hit the Enter key.
  • The above command will reset Windows Defender.
  • Close the Command Prompt window and restart your computer.
