- Before reinstalling the Webroot antivirus, make sure you have deleted it completely from your device.
- If not, click the Start button available at the bottom-left corner of the screen.

- Click the Start button and give a right-click on the Computer tab to select Properties.
- In the Properties window, click the System Protection option followed by Create to set a system restore point.
- Open the web browser and navigate to the official Webroot site.
- Download the CleanWDF tool that suits your operating system and version.
- It will download as an extension (.exe) file.
- After downloading the removal tool, navigate to the Downloads folder and run the removal tool.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the uninstallation.
- Restart your computer if prompted.
- The clean-up process will remove all the files related to the Webroot antivirus.
- If you aren’t able to run the removal tool, start your computer in Windows Safe Mode and launch the removal tool.
- Before reinstalling, make sure you have the Webroot Keycode.
- Stay online while reinstalling the Webroot antivirus.
- Download and Webroot antivirus and launch the installer file.
- Follow the on-screen prompts and use the Keycode to complete the software installation and restart your Windows desktop.
