  • On your computer, launch the Quick Heal Antivirus software.
  • On its dashboard, click on Internet & Network.
  • In the window that displays next, choose the Firewall Protection option.
  • In the Firewall Protection section of the next window, go to Advanced Settings. Here, click on the Configure button and continue with the steps to enable Ping in the Quick Heal Antivirus.
  • In the new window, you will notice that Network Profile is set to Public. Sometimes, it will be set to Work.

And, you will also find that the following are the default settings:

  • The Stealth Mode will be set to ON.
  • The File & Printer Sharing option will be set to OFF.

Now, you need to change the above default settings as follows for the available Network Profile:

  • Keep the Stealth Mode as OFF.
  • Set the File & Printer Sharing option to ON.

In the current Advanced Settings window, make sure that you select the checkboxes next to the following options:

  • The above options have to be selected in order to generate alert messages and create reports, respectively.
  • Now, you have to click on Traffic Rules. Select the checkbox before the ICMP option.
  • Double-click on the ICMP option and continue with the steps to enable Ping in the Quick Heal Antivirus.
  • In the window that displays next, click on the radio button beside the ICMP option.
  • You have to click on the Next button.
  • You will notice a new window pop up. Here, click on the radio button next to the Any IP Address option. Now, click on the Next button.
  • Select the In and Out traffic options for all the Names. Next, click on the Finish button.
  • Now, you have to click on the OK button.
  • Finally, you need to click on the Save Changes button below Advanced Settings (under Firewall Protection).
  • Now, try to ping any system within your network. The problem should be solved by now and you should be able to ping any system.
  • You have now successfully enable ping in Quick heal antivirus.
