On the home page of the Webroot antivirus software, click the Settings icon near PC Security on the left end.

To add an exception to a new file, click the Add File button at the bottom.
The File Explorer will open. In that, browse the file for which you need an exception from scanning.
After adding your file to the Allow/Block Files list, select the radio button under the Allow option to enable exception.
If you wish to remove all the files from the exception list, then click the Remove All button.
