If you see any error while installing your ESET product using ESET Live Installer, you can use ESET Offline Installer instead.
The step-by-step instructions to install the ESET product using Offline Installer are mentioned below:
- Download the installer file for the ESET product from the manufacturer website.
- The downloaded installer file is saved in the Downloads folder by default.
- Start the installation process of the ESET product by double-clicking the installer file.
- For example, the steps to install one of the ESET product, I.e., ESET Smart Security Premium are provided here.
- As soon as the ‘Install ESET Smart Security Premium’ message appears on the screen, choose your preferred language from the appropriate drop-down menu and click the Continue button.
- If needed, review the terms and conditions of the ESET software.
- Agree with the End User License Agreement (EULA) of the ESET product by clicking the I Accept button at the lower-left end of the screen.
- The ‘Choose an activation option’ window will display on the screen.
- Click the ‘Use a purchased License key’ link. The license key will be sent through email.
- Copy the license key from the email and paste it in the ‘Use a purchased License Key’ field.
- Click the Continue button twice.
- Select either the ‘Enable ESET LiveGrid feedback system’ or ‘Disable ESET LiveGrid feedback system’ option.
- Also, choose the ‘Enable detection of potentially unwanted applications’ or Disable detection of potentially unwanted applications’ option.
- After you click the Continue button, select the radio button next to the Yes or No option and click Continue in the ‘Participate in Customer Experience Improvement Program’ window.
- Once the Installation Successful message appears on the screen, close the installation wizard by clicking the Done option.
- Now, the ESET product is installed on the computer. Also, you can set the following features on the ESET product.
- Password Manager
- Secure Data
- Parental Control
- Anti-Theft.
