Step 1:

If you have an antivirus application or firewall installed on your computer, then remove or uninstall it. You can use the remover tool for removing your antivirus product, or follow the below-mentioned instructions to uninstall the antivirus software from your Windows computer.

  • Open the Control Panel window.
  • Select the Programs and Features option.
  • Then, from the list of applications, select the antivirus software and click the Uninstall/Change button.
  • Follow the instructions displayed in the uninstallation wizard to completely remove the antivirus software from your computer.
  • Restart your computer and check whether you are able to activate the ESET product without error.

Step 2:
