To use the Active Virus Control feature, first, you have to install one of the above mentioned BitDefender products on your computer. After installing the application, you can enable the feature. Download & Install The Bitdefender Application

  • Visit Bitdefender’s official site and select the Bitdefender Total Security 2020 application.
  • Perform the on-screen instructions to complete the product download or purchase process.
  • Once the application is downloaded, open it to begin the installation.
  • Install the application on your computer by following the instructions displayed on the screen.
  • Once the installation has been completed, open the Bitdefender application and enable the Active Virus Control feature.

Enabling Active Virus Control

  • Go to the Bitdefender Total Security 2020 application’s Settings section.
  • Click the Antivirus tab.
  • Navigate to Shield.
  • Click the toggle button beside the Active Virus Control feature to enable it.
